The Lure of Ponies is a stop motion mystery set in the attic of a shuttered vintage emporium called Spellbound Treasures & Curiosities.
Populated by a colorful cast of vintage dolls and toys, the attic hums with
fun and camaraderie, but also with secrets and danger.
Helping to keep things in order are Detective Frances Faraday, a Victorian porcelain doll, and her sidekick Midge, a sixties-era plastic doll.
One morning, a distressed baby doll shows up with a new case - her 8 year old human playmate Lily has gone missing! Is the baby doll overreacting?
Is Lily just playing hide and seek? Or is something more sinister afoot?
Along with a cast of colorful characters, Frances and Midge must use all their private eye smarts as they encounter red herrings, wild goose chases, mistaken identities and more to solve the case!
